Car show

We’re making a few changes this year to help the car show launch smoothly into orbit!  

 No pre-signups this year! Just arrive, show us your con badge, and park your ride. Easy as engaging warp drive.  

 New Location: We’ll be using the ball field this year for the main show area. If your vehicle sits extremely low to the ground, don’t panic unless you’re already scraping pavement, you should be fine! If needed, our crew will guide you to the auxiliary/overflow parking area by the general store. 

Arrival Line-Up: Please line up on Fontana Rd, then continue onto Welch Rd as directed by staff.  If you would like to park with your friends and or group please lineup with them in the line.

If you’d like to enter for judging, please park your vehicle and stop by the red table to grab an entry slip. Write your badge number on it and place it on your dashboard for judging crews to see.  Get those engines ready and prepare for a stellar lineup of rides at 2026 Furry Takeover!

1. Respect Everyone

Treat all attendees, staff, volunteers, and Fontana Dam Resort employees with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

2. Follow Staff Instructions

Event staff and security are here to keep everyone safe. Their directions must be followed at all times.

3. Drive Safely

Obey all traffic laws.

No speeding, racing, burnouts, donuts, drifting, or reckless driving.

Pedestrians always have the right of way.

4. No Revving or Excessive Noise

Avoid unnecessary engine revving, loud music, or excessive horn use.

5. Respect the Vehicles

Do not touch, lean on, or enter another person's vehicle without the owner's permission.

6. Park Only Where Directed

Remain in your assigned display space unless staff instruct otherwise.

7. Keep It Family-Friendly

Vehicles, costumes, and displays should be appropriate for a general audience. Explicit or offensive material is not permitted.

8. No Alcohol or Illegal Drugs

Do not consume alcohol or use illegal drugs while participating in or attending the event. Never operate a vehicle while impaired.

9. Clean Up After Yourself

Dispose of trash properly and help keep Fontana Dam Resort clean.

10. Event Liability

Participants are responsible for their own vehicles and personal property. Furry Takeover LLC and Fontana Dam Resort are not responsible for theft, damage, or accidents.

11. Have Fun!

Enjoy the cars, meet fellow furries, and help create a welcoming environment for everyone.

Grounds for Removal

Reckless driving

Burnouts or racing

Harassment or threatening behavior

Refusal to follow staff instructions

Vandalism or property damage

Possession or use of illegal substances

Any behavior that puts attendees or the venue at risk
